Since an important part of art is the creation of concepts, ideas that do not exist in the finished form without form, they need to be designed. And in order to create concepts, or work with them, an artist needs to be acutely aware of time. Only under this condition will the work be interesting, fit into the context and will ,as they say, “work”. This is probably why really relevant and interesting ideas, and after them, the works of artists, do not often arise. At the same time, it is absolutely not important how the object came into being: that is, how and from what the work is made. All that matters is what feelings, thoughts, and associations this object evokes in the viewer's mind.
Of course, an adequate and sensitive critic who will appreciate the relevance of the work is always useful on the way of the work.
