Read Margulis 'seminal work” Photoshop for Professionals ” and “Lab: A Journey into the Most powerful color Space”. I also highly recommend Pavel Kosenko's “Live Digit”. As well as Alexander Shadrin's seminars on color correction and more.
UPD. I forgot to add the most important thing: practice a lot. Now I sometimes look at old photos in a completely different way.
The taste and color of all markers write well. Each person has an individual color perception, starting from the physiological equipment of the eye with rods/cones, and ending with the entic accessory. You can never please everyone.�
