    There is no harm in continuing to play an audiobook while you sleep.

    In any case, there are no experimentally confirmed negative effects of background speech (music) during sleep. Also, the assimilation of any information in this way is not confirmed. You won't be able to learn or remember something in this way.

    Alternatively, you can try listening to ASMR tracks/videos to achieve an even more soporific and relaxing effect.
