  1. Initially, such a person has an increased level of anxiety, suspicion. It seems to a person that something is wrong with him- his clothes are not like this, he looks not like this, he behaves not like this. And in the case of being in a society (especially when the surrounding people are out of sight), a person begins to feel that they are looking at him, analyzing him. When he looks around and sees that everything is in order, no one is looking at him, then such cases are simply overlooked by the person. When, finally, a person notices a look on himself (this is natural – he begins to attract attention to himself by his behavior), this is clearly remembered by him, his hypothesis is confirmed, and he begins to believe that he can feel other people's eyes (“it's like someone is drilling into my back – I can feel it”).

Any small-scale experimenter shatters this “superpower” of a person to feel someone else's gaze. Psychology of pure water.

  2. You can feel the presence of another person's biofield with your own biofield. It is material and even measurable by instruments. The view also has a material structure.

  3. People do not “feel” the gaze with their backs. This is not possible due to the fact that vzglyad does not distribute information, it receives it))) This is not an antenna, but a radio receiver. Or rather, just receiving radio waves in the visible spectrum. When I was a student, out of mischief, I argued with two of my classmates who claimed to be able to “feel the gaze” that this was not the case. We put about three hundred tests of 20 guesses, all of which lasted for several days, and we were judged by five more people. It was fun))) As a result, we found out that neither of them could guess anything. Rather, they competed with an ordinary coin-which was tossed by one of the judges. If the coat of arms fell out, then we put an entry in the notebook that “the coin feels the look”. And the girls were sitting with their backs to the man who was flipping another coin. If there was a coat of arms, then he looked at one, and if tails – then at another girl. We recorded all this. Despite the fact that the girls were sure that they guessed when people were looking at them or not looking at them, their answers were random. I don't remember the exact numbers, but it turned out that they guessed about 50%… just like a coin. i.e. there wasn't even a weak correlation with whether someone was watching or not. Pure chance. You can also test your “eye-guessing abilities” yourself.

For the sake of justice, we should say that the girls were offended by us, but since they were cute and kind, we came up with a way to convince them that they can feel other people's eyes on their backs. We suggested that they conduct another “experiment” on their own – go to a large store or a crowded street, and look around from time to time if there are any sensations. And count the number of guessed views, but you need to look carefully. Of course, in this case, when someone starts to turn around on the street and look around, someone will pay attention to such a person and look, especially if they have already looked in this direction. In general, they calmed down, the correlation was found))))

  4. Unfortunately, man is not a pigeon, and he cannot see all 360 degrees. But, nevertheless, we see a little more than we realize. That is, much of the information received remains outside of our consciousness, the brain processes this information, but then it does not go anywhere. This is how peripheral vision works.

When we turn around to look at another person, we never think that we actually saw them out of the corner of our eye and just didn't realize it, but it is true. That's why sometimes we can think of some phrases that we don't understand that we accidentally saw on the cover of a magazine in the stall on the left or on a billboard that is far above.

  5. In the animal world, in most cases, a direct look means aggression or threat. As a rule, this view is inherent in predators. Those individuals who were better able to distinguish such a look with their peripheral vision received an evolutionary advantage – they had an increased survival rate and could leave more offspring. Thus, “spider-sense” genes are widely distributed in the population.

  6. Such people simply engage in self-deception. A person who believes in something, seeks confirmation of it and ignores everything that contradicts it. Ultimately, people deceive themselves.

  7. Many people notice a look from the back, where there are definitely no eyes.

However, the very possibility that some people actually notice other people's eyes can be tested by experiment:

Let's say there are two rooms with glass between them.

One person is sitting on a chair, with a notebook and pen, the other is trying to look at him from behind.

There is a clock in the room that makes a sound every 20 seconds.

The person who is watching has an encoded message, say, a set of 16 bits that eventually form a simple word.

The “caretaker” and the “Detector” agreed among themselves that each clock cycle measured by the clock, the “caretaker” will try to look at the back of the “detector “' s head, or not look, trying to transmit a message.

But something tells me it won't work 🙂

  8. Our brains can even think that someone is looking at you – even when they're not. If you've ever felt someone watching you, you may have attributed this awareness to feeling restless or greaves on the back of your neck. But there's nothing psychic about it; your brain was just collecting signals.

  9. Physiologists will pour out a thousand explanations, there is a peripheral view, and thermal radiation (this is for 10 meters), and the instinct of self-preservation, and something else. But ,of course, they will not say about the simplest, about the ray of sight. Once, at the beginning of the same century, they tried to make devices sensitive to the power of sight, even the term was such-chemistry of sight. And when the two beams meet, understanding contact occurs, or vice versa- instantaneous exchange of necessary information. On what channel, 5G-10G? I don't know the mechanism of these communications. This is not proof, but personally I often clearly felt the gaze and turned around and vice versa. And it's hard to explain otherwise.

  10. You can feel that look , but not all of it ! some people have an increased return on biofuels. Because of this, you seem to burn or become somehow uncomfortably cold. Consequences are also not all experienced, for example: a slight headache, nausea, change in mood, etc . It all depends on what state you are in…

  11. This should be asked of the American gentlemen. The IMF, for example, in the field of economics. It is they who determine the strategy of meeting the eyes of the person who is looking at you. The strategy is in their hands. The national strategy is prohibited under article 13 of the Constitution. There is not a single institute that can plan the number of meetings with the eyes of people – including those who are looking at you. According to the Constitution, we are only people who turn around to look. Conceptually, instructions come from the United States, and then they are processed in Russia at the tactical, technical, and business level. Then they go to the State Duma and from there a person is sent who looks at you. As in all colonies, there is nothing exceptional here. In Europe-the same, but sent from Brussels. And in Brussels, mostly, sends America.

    Sorry, I couldn't resist.

In fact, the answer of the respected Andrey made us understand that people still do not “feel” the gaze behind their backs.

But the very phenomenon of meeting the gaze of a person who is looking at you still received consideration as something unusual for two reasons:

-First of all, people are good at “catching” a direct look. If you catch a glimpse of a crowd of people, you are very likely to subconsciously pick out those who are looking directly at your face and eyes extremely quickly. And most likely, you may not even notice the person who is not looking at you. Similarly, people are more likely to subconsciously avert their eyes from a person when they don't want them to notice them.

-Secondly, the movement often attracts attention. You are sitting in a crowded auditorium, and if someone starts to turn around from the rows in front of you, you are more likely to catch a glimpse of that person. And if he, in turn, notices your look – he will also look at you. And for this reason, you will hold your gaze on him AND DROWN IN THE DEPTHS OF HIS EYES LOVE ACQUAINTANCE WEDDING CHILDREN.

It turns out that this phenomenon is related to the fact that people “cling” with their eyes because a direct look attracts attention – and, by the way, this is why(in part) people who want to be noticed “drill” the object of their interest with their eyes. They immediately avert their eyes if they are afraid of being noticed. The movement of the person who turns around attracts the gaze of a bystander->the person notices the look of a bystander and starts looking back->>the bystander notices the look of the person who turns around, etc. – this is how it works.

  12. We turn around dozens of times every day for various reasons, and on the rare occasions when people are looking at us, we think that we have turned around because we “felt the gaze”.

  13. Indeed, people notice this phenomenon, but when they try to check-for some reason they lose this gift. Let's find out what we really feel, why and how to train it (you can train both the ability to notice “looks” and the ability to “observe” without being noticed).

We need to clarify – in fact, this is not about the sense of sight. So, for example, if the eyes are directed at a person, but the attention will fly in dreams, then such a look will not be noticed, and vice versa, if you observe a person by means of lateral vision, without giving a sign-the person will notice the look, but will be confused, because your eyes will not meet.

In addition, there are three well-established expressions about this phenomenon::

    “I can feel the weight of his gaze.”;

    • “I can feel the intense stares”;

    • “his burning gaze.”

Remember the 3 main manifestations: heaviness, warmth, and tension!

Now try to relax as much as possible, stand up straight and alternately start concentrating your attention on different parts of your body (palm, second palm, knees, shoulder, waist, etc.), and most importantly, all your attention is only on this part of the body, without trying to remember what was in the previous one.

As a result, you will notice that heat, heaviness and tension will flow over your body, behind your attention. Moreover, the more you focus your attention , the stronger the manifestations (many of course believe that this is a rush of blood)… But if you pay close attention, you will notice that first there is a slight heaviness ,warmth and tension in this or that part of the body, and then “heavier, hotter and more tense”flows.

I will not go deeper, but I will sum up – a person's attention itself manifests itself in the form of light heaviness, warmth and tension, and does not have a rigid binding to the body. And it is someone else's attention that a person can feel on himself. It's just that attention with a glance is easier to notice, as there is instant visual confirmation. Therefore, if you are looking at a person ,you will study him, as if being close to him with your attention-he will notice a foreign heat and his subconscious will decide to find out from whom it comes, and the same thing can happen if you constantly think about the person-there is a chance that he will feel you.

The same principle is often found, and when someone wants to call you, the person starts thinking about you, his attention finds your personality and you remember about him too, as in a few seconds he calls on the phone. ;-)

If you are interested in what our attention is, as well as what that hot “heat” is, and how this knowledge will help in practice in everyday life and in extreme situations-ask, I will answer. But it is precisely on this knowledge that my teaching methodology is built!

    All the best…

  14. What about intuition? After all, people with a well-developed intuition, really, feel such subtleties…as a look, or the presence of a person nearby whom they love or,conversely, fear.

  15. I was not personally satisfied with all the answers. Most likely it is that the gaze emits something or the brain itself emits. It was the most such-you go deep about something thinking and suddenly some discomfort in the head, the head turns you, too, and behind your back in a huge crowd instantly see the one who is watching. This rarely happens, but definitely not pereferia and not instincts. it's a look that brings you out of your reverie. It was also the other way around. you look at someone in the crowd and suddenly that person turns around and looks right at you stunned. and then you realize-he felt it

  16. Look to look discord! If it is an interested, meaningful look, then anyone will feel it, even if they don't see the person themselves. You can feel love, anger, hatred, and so on…. This look is felt by our living human soul! She is even able to sense everything from a long distance away.

  17. 35 years ago I wrote a book, a few years ago… – “The Formula of Love” – about the Love of a Man and a Woman… the main character of my novel was a doctor-he conducted research on brain activity.. i.e. our brain emits energy in different ranges and frequencies. And he conducted experiments with lovers on this topic. And recently I got acquainted with Konstantin Korotkov's dissertation on this topic.. – and here I recommend the result of his experiment (on the video link.) – I'll say this. – I felt the vibration of the soul of the woman I loved when she crossed the street a few blocks from my house(1.5 km) and came to me. Before she reached the house, I already knew how long it would take her to come in. He opened the lock and opened the door for her. She didn't even call. It was so much fun for us that I won't write about it here. Look at the faces of a woman and a man participating in the Korotkov experiment – and listen to the words about the fusion of energies. This is a confirmation of what I wrote in my book. – This woman and man know the “Formula of Love” – I wish you all to find it.

The energy of love. Konstantin Korotkov's experiment

PS-to the author of the experiment with coins))) – if a person has a strong energy-then you can feel his gaze. Once I had a conflict with a man who was released from prison, and he behaved very badly, and promised to kill me in the morning when his friends arrived. In front of witnesses, I told him that the morning of the evening is more complicated, and if you die in the morning, then give my greetings to my friends, they will tell you a lot about me. “The police came to me this morning because the man was dead… he started drinking beer and his heart stopped. – I said that beer is probably very bad for his body. And the fact that we had a fight yesterday, it may be that he died of grief… – In general, they found out that I didn't kill him. – After that, all the neighbors, I was in great respect, for that morning the evening was more complicated))).

  18. No way.
With due diligence, unsuccessful guesses are forgotten (turned around, but no one really looked), and successful ones, on the contrary, are well remembered (turned around and really noticed someone's look) and logically interpreted, which gives rise to such reasoning.

  19. It's just an instinct. Nonverbal information from other individuals is received by a person unconsciously and there is a sharp, anxious desire to turn around. And on you there pop-pop two eyes!
In ancient times, our species so sensed danger from sebe-like or wild animals, the brain helped us “smell” the enemy and save our lives.

  20. You will also ask why exactly in the right eye 😉

It's not the look, it's the focus. When an outsider focuses on you, whether it's looking at you or listening to you – they capture what's happening, record it, and interpret it. The micro-movements of your body get an observer that wasn't there before. The feedback that tells your brain that you are being stared at or listened to is a change in the frequency of nature's rattles. Something similar to echo-location through the hairline, sounds, reflections, side vision, invisible to the conscious mind, but visible to the sensors of the subconscious (raw data). The body, as a signal system, captures the reading of its signals in the form of reflected modulation, which it sends itself.

In addition, being in space next to a person, there are other natural objects besides us, such as bugs, ants, and other people who directly see your listener at work and transmit this information through their micro-movements, sounds, and body positions – performing the function of a rear-view mirror.

But that's not all. The person who looks at you does it for a reason. His attention is drawn to a certain factor associated with you. You, as a carrier of this factor, in one way or another know who it attracts. And being in a familiar space, you can understand in advance that you are a carrier of attention for a certain group of people who may be present here.

As a result, there is both feedback and expectation to find it.

  21. It just so happened, we all feel the looks of strangers, it's probably nature so ordered that we feel the danger and avoid it, I'm not a specialist I'm fond of psychology)

  22. The instinct of self-preservation,left to us from our ancestors. It is developed differently in humans.I had a case when I was doing my own business at work in a warehouse, I came up with the idea that soon an employee would come up from behind to ask for some information regarding the registration of goods ( I worked as a storekeeper, and she was an accountant), but I would not hear and she would come closer. It flashed through my mind like a picture, an excerpt from a movie.Forgetting about it, I turned around after a while and saw her.I was almost speechless with surprise. And she thought I was just scared. But it turns out as a foresight, i.e. ahead of time before the situation, and when you feel the eyes on you, you get a signal that they want something from you right now and you need to react immediately, so you involuntarily turn around. Apparently, this ability helped our ancestors out a lot when hunting.

  23. I'm not sure for many people, but I think that this is some kind of intuition or conditional sixth sense, which for some reason works like this. This feeling obviously passes the brain, because when you catch another glance when you turn your head, you don't understand at all why the head turned in that direction.

But this does not work every time, and probably, as I said, there is no scientific justification for this yet.

  24. They see your reflection in the coffee pot…

One of the proofs of the opposite is that if you look at the waiter's back for a long time without looking away, he does not feel it.

  25. Directed gaze is accompanied by at least an energetic arousal in the body of the one who is looking, in relation to the one who is being looked at. This arousal can be expressed, for example, by interest or anger.

As a rule, we feel the gaze of someone who looks at us for a long time. Remember from your experience: your fleeting glance is not noticed by the object, and if you look for a long time, the object turns around to you.

This feature of human interaction is used by theater actors in their activities. During their training, they are specially trained so that they can “turn off the brain” and focus on the sensations in the body. A lot of exercises are aimed at this, in which you need to feel: a glance, a throw of a virtual object, a call from a partner or his desire to reject it. The essence of such exercises is to feel the energy of another person, which is directed in your direction. This is necessary in order to better feel your partner on stage, to respond adequately to their expression, not to underplay or overplay. As practice shows, even a person from the “street” quite successfully performs such exercises. This means that there are some mechanisms in people that allow them to remotely feel the energy of another.

Unfortunately, there is no scientific explanation for this yet. There is a theory about the noosphere, which supposedly accumulates human knowledge and with which we can interact, taking information about the collective from it. There is a theory about the relationship (like quantum entanglement) of consciousness and, again, something like the noosphere. But these are just theories.

The question “why is this so?” is certainly interesting in this case. But is it so important when you can just use it?

How to use it? For example, like this:

    — You can concentrate on your desire and pass it on to someone else, so that the other person responds to it. At the same time, a vivid, imaginative representation of details increases the effectiveness of the reception (think of religious rituals with dolls, figurines, and other symbols that you can focus on well). For example, you want an object to approach you. Find what you really like about it. I really like it. For example, a beautiful hairstyle. Now call the person to you, having in mind a thought like: “Come to me, I like your hairstyle so much — we will be good together.” The main thing here is to focus on relevant details and be sincere.
