Our speech and thinking are interconnected, so in order to talk logically, you must also think logically. Developing logical thinking is the first step to successful oral communication. Thinking is a cognitive function of the brain responsible for receiving, processing, and reproducing information from the outside world. Logic allows you to correctly reason, operate on existing knowledge, and identify cause-and-effect relationships, which, in turn, contributes to the correct construction of dialogue and argumentation.�

Speech is not just a reflection of our thinking. The very formation of our consciousness and mastering various knowledge is impossible without speech. As a means of expressing thoughts in the process of communication, speech becomes the main mechanism of thinking. Developing speech skills is necessary for proper communication, for maintaining a dialogue, in order to understand the interlocutor and be understood. First you need to learn to think. And think fast, automatically. You need to be able to distinguish facts from judgments, estimates from objective data, arguments from idle chatter. To be able to speak logically, you need to see logic. Feel it. And don't fall into logical traps like “if a is after b, then a is a consequence of b”.

The experience also allows you to give out high-class, confident and calm lines that are very difficult to answer correctly, without wasting time on long thoughts, almost without hesitation. Experience also helps you avoid logical mistakes and gives you an intuitive understanding of where to keep silent and where to insert a word.
The most important point in a dialogue is the ability to think. If a person is incompetent and does not know what they are talking about, it will lead them to complete collapse. Having the ability to think logically does not guarantee a competent and logical speech. The belief to the contrary is false. Many people who have very good logic are extremely bad at expressing thoughts.
To speak logically, you need to learn how to correctly formulate and express an idea. Start by evaluating your written messages on any social media platform. See how often you use ellipsis and question marks and exclamation marks in excess, and how often the other person asks clarifying questions after your messages.
