  1. I can only answer: yes, you can. I used to wake up like that. But instead of shouting, I could hear the same indistinct wheeze or whistle that was familiar from my dreams with the episode “I want to scream, but I can't”.

  2. Can. There were different kinds of nightmares. As a child, when you can't scream or wake up crying. In adulthood, they are more calm, for example, after the death of my parents, I had nightmares for 10 years, then they are alive, then they die, then they are resurrected, then we quarrel, then I have relief from their death, then a sense of guilt. The funny thing is that I woke up in normal feelings, a little tired from sleep, but without fear, without anxiety, quite mentally alert.

    I don't know why. But I'm still glad I haven't had a nightmare in years. You get tired of them anyway.
