Hawking is undoubtedly one of the greatest PERSONALITIES on earth. Intelligence is impossible to measure, and his scientific achievements are rather controversial (in my unprofessional opinion) – he himself refused to accept his original views, and a number of his theories have not yet been confirmed. But his willpower and ability to overcome the impossible are unprecedented.
