Marina Abramovic is a performance artist from Serbia. In 2010, the New York Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) hosted one of her most famous performances – “In the Presence of the Artist”. Any visitor could look Marina in the eye and make eye contact with her. The idea of the performance was to look into the artist's eyes and understand the inner world of a creative person. The performance at MOMA lasted more than 700 hours, during which time Marina Abramovich met the eyes of 1,500 people.
