According to Ayn Rand, society is built by strong, independent and risk – taking people; geniuses who stand out from the crowd-businessmen, inventors, etc. They are the main creators of all that is constructive and rightfully occupy a higher place in society than the masses – after all, they create most of what is in society.
Any egalitarianism is disastrous for society. As soon as some leaders try to implement such a policy in the interests of the majority, people-creators are washed out of such a society (for example, emigrate), and it is doomed to self-destruction.
