  1. Widely popular books among philosophers include the following:

    • “Nicomachean Ethics” by Aristotle
    • “Conversations and Judgments” by Confucius
    • Words and Things by Michel Foucault
    • “Creative Evolution” by Henri Bergson
    • “Free Will” by Sam Harris

    All these books, in one way or another, are included in any collection of books of the TOP 20 in philosophy in the entire history of the planet!

    You can buy these books in Moscow at one of the following online bookstores::

    • MoskowBooks;
    • Labirint;
    • Ozon;
    • Biblio-Globus.

    All of these stores offer home delivery.

    Good luck!

  2. It depends on what kind of philosophy a person is interested in.

    From Russian religious philosophy, these are, of course, Nikolai Berdyaev, Vasily Rozanov, Semyon Frank, Evgeny Trubetskoy.

    From the ancient – I join the advice of Anastasia K. – “Alone with yourself” by Marcus Aurelius.

    German philosophy is a dark forest. If a person is not a fan, then you should not, in my opinion.

    There is a lot of literature. Depends on your interests…

    In Moscow, I like Biblio-Globus. It may not be the cheapest, but it's a nice store.

    In my opinion, St. Petersburg has the best selection of non-fiction literature in the Word Order store on Fontanka. There is also a second-hand bookstore on Bolshaya Morskaya Street, which has a lot of history, philosophy and religion.

  3. I advise: “Thus spake Zarathustra”, ” In private. Reflections”, “The Art of being”, etc. There are a lot of good books on philosophy! You would need to clarify what kind of philosophy the person is interested in. You can buy it in good chain stores, or in online stores such as OZONE. Good luck with your purchases ;))

  4. They are translated and edited differently in each era. Large selection in the House of Books on Novy Arbat. I recommend that you opt for a critique of philosophy.
