  1. Squeamishness is, in a way, deviant behavior.

    Cleanliness is the norm.

    Excessive cleanliness is also deviant.

How to understand where the truth is? Most hygiene habits are instilled in us in childhood. Then, under the influence of various factors, some may “die off”, and some may be added. But everyone knows how to wash their hands before eating and after using the toilet, brush their teeth, and take a shower. Well, I hope so.

Many nuances like nail clipping and ear cleaning seem superfluous to some, while others are brought up on the principle of “don't be nasty to yourself”, and can't afford to “run” themselves like that.
