  1. In real life, flashbacks are called psychopathological re-experiences. You need to understand that they are different from movie flashbacks. On the screen, the flashback is just a flashback. In reality, it is a vivid involuntary experience of past experience, perceived by a person as what is happening now. At the same time, empathy can be not only visual, but also auditory, tactile, and so on. Flashbacks, as a rule, are a sign of PTSD, alcohol and drug use, that is, they do not say anything good. By the way, this phenomenon is even listed in ICD 10.
