  1. Imagine that you are playing a game of chess with a friend or playing a computer game.

As long as you remember that nothing depends on the outcome of the game, then it brings you pleasure.

You can win or lose, the balance of power can change, but you know that no matter what the game ends, you will be fine.

A game is just a game.

Now imagine that you believe that your life depends on the outcome of this game.

That there is something extremely important at stake and you can never lose.

Will you be able to enjoy the process of such a game? Or will you be full of tension and fear, afraid to make a mistake?

Life is just as much a game, only it is immeasurably more complex than any games invented by man.

And the wrong identification with our body and mind prevents us from enjoying it to the fullest.

It seems that we are our body, and as soon as it dies, so do we.

Of course, it becomes very difficult to relax and love life!

But we are neither the body nor the mind. We are that which is called by various names, soul, Being, part of God, presence.

When you read these lines and thoughts come to mind, it's not you. You are the background against which thoughts, feelings, and any other experience of life arise.

There can be a presence without thoughts, but there can't be thoughts without presence.

It is like a screen on which the film of our life is projected, everything that happens to us during each day.

We believe that we are the images on the screen, but we are the screen itself.

And the truth is, the screen can't stop existing.

He has always been and always will be, and when we die (that is, when our body dies), we simply become this Being again or return to God, depending on which formulation is closer to you.

If you can capture this feeling even for a second, it will change you and life will become what it was always intended to be-a wonderful game, not a reality full of suffering and fear.

  2. As a rule, people hold on to life – this is an amazing instinct that wins them to avoid danger and do everything possible not to lose it. There is no true satisfaction in life if you are guided only by the principle “we will eat and drink, because tomorrow we will die” or if you focus on a problem that seems insurmountable. It doesn't bring happiness. You can develop a taste for life by observing nature, reading interesting books, exploring different areas, communicating with nice people, listening to beautiful music, and finding joy in caring for others. It is no accident that Jesus said, ” It is more blessed to give than to receive.” And life will sparkle with new colors. I wish you to find a way to enjoy life.

  3. Life is not pleasant when a person does what he does not like and is not interested in, when he does not realize his desires, but does everything from the state of “NEED” and “MUST” for others.

If you do not stop doing everything to please others, forgetting about yourself, then life is impossible to love. After all, this is no longer your life, but living for others.

If you really want to live happily and enjoy yourself, then you will have to perform only 2 actions. But for those who are not used to it, this may seem difficult.

    1. Stop doing things that you don't like and aren't interested in.
    2. Start doing what you like and are interested in.

And also allow yourself something that you didn't allow before. You can, you're an adult, after all! 🙂
