  1. I found my faith at the age of 53. And before that, I was an atheist, I took exams on scientific atheism. There are many of them among my generation.
Now I'm making up for my religious experience. But I still have an atheist in me. I think of God as some kind of energy, information field and other scientific concepts, and not as a Rembrandt Father.
Now education is even worse than in the Soviet era, in terms of digitization of brains. And all social life is focused on material success, money, and an ocean of scientific information. But the current culture raises materialists, atheists. But still the soul is drawn to the higher realms, to spirituality. Which translates into faith.
This is how atheist believers appear.

  2. There are plenty of atheist believers. Including fanatical believers. Fanatically believing that there is no God, and all those who think otherwise are heretics who should be ridiculed and insulted more strongly.

  3. The atheist does not believe in God, the believer believes. So if you believe and disbelieve at the same time, you will get a split consciousness, a symptom of schizophrenia. If you have such a condition, you should immediately contact a psychiatrist. The faster you start treatment, the higher the chance of achieving permanent remission. Good luck to you!

  4. This is simply due to the lack of understanding and the proposed only two concepts))
Religion is a technology of submission, by imposing rules and concepts.
Atheism is a subconscious rejection of incomprehensible rules and questionable statements.
Of course, I do not want to submit, but the consciousness that something is still there does not leave)
The conclusion suggests itself. There is something else.)
This is the Soul. The soul belongs to the family, it is a part of it. ROD – this is the power, the knowledge that is in the Soul. There is all the knowledge of how the universe works, what to eat and drink, who to live with and how, who to obey or not to obey. This is a huge energy structure, translated into the earthly concept of God.
Hence the contradiction, what the fuck is God, if I am a part of God)) I can't pray to myself.
For many, many generations, a whole species of people have been born, made, bred as you like, who do not have the support of the Genus, these are people of the system. They don't have a Soul, or rather, they do have one, but they have the knowledge of their current state pumped into it. Money, benefits, a standard set of desires and aspirations. I wouldn't be surprised if in another couple of generations gold is the Supreme God, for example. They don't care what they believe, what the system says and will do.
    I hope it's clear?))
When there is a connection with the family, and they impose all sorts of nonsense, it turns out that both an atheist and a believer.
The Slavs never had any Gods or religions. This is already modern history, everything has been rewritten, mutilated and imposed…

  5. It just so happens that the overwhelming majority consider themselves Christians, but do not attend churches, do not confess, do not take communion with the mysteries, do not keep fasts, do not understand the basic religious dogmas, and so on.

In the tradition of most of us there are holidays: Easter, Christmas, commemorations of the deceased, baptisms, weddings and funerals of the deceased.

Leaving the temple, they forget about everything they repented of and are quite happy with life.

Everything gets along in a person with an incredible range of superstitions, rumors and contradictions.

  6. And there is no contradiction between an atheist and faith. Absolutely anyone is always forced to have a fundamental faith:

    for example

    trust your feelings,

    trust in human memory,

    faith in someone else's consciousness.

None of the fundamental beliefs (axiomatics) can be proved in any way strictly(one hundred percent), but all normal people accept these propositions as worthy of trust, and other statements become derived from the fundamental belief. Atheism is no exception.

For us who believe in God, the belief in the existence of a Creator is such a fundamental belief, and since this belief lies in our axiomatic system, this element of our faith cannot be strictly proved.

But what can be said about axioms? The axioms may be required to show why our axiom (God exists) it is more reliable than the alternative “There is no God”.

And then various proofs, a cosmological argument, fine-tuning of the universe, an extremely low probability of the origin of life, and much more come into force.

  7. Anya L, I consider myself a believer, but not a religious person. I go to church as needed and don't look for God there. I'm not really looking for God. I know it's there. I guess even in what Image. And I am sure that it is He who excites my consciousness in me. And, although I create my own way of thinking, but the original reason for my feeling of my own ” I ” is It. He sends me his Impulse in light, which creates my soul on the physical level of the structure of my body. In this way, he breathes life into me, both the physical life of my body and the spiritual life, which is a kind of combination of light waves around my brain, from which my thoughts are formed, by which I feel myself, and by which I manifest my Mind.

Now about faith. Everything is confused in people's minds by the fact that even convinced believers cannot explain what it means to “believe in God”. It all comes down to following certain rules, rituals, etc. And it is believed that if you follow the religious precepts, then you will be pleasing to God, and He will take you to the kingdom of heaven. This simplified version of the belief is the dominant one today. But it has outlived its usefulness.

To be pleasing to God, one must actively develop one's own thinking and believe in the Holy Gospel. But to believe in the Holy Gospel, you need to understand what it is about. And to understand what is at stake, you need to know a lot. Have an understanding of magnetic fields and light radiation, as the Bible describes the origin and development of human consciousness, starting from the quantum level.

Yes, yes. It is the processes that take place in the human body, as a result of which human consciousness arises, that are discussed in the New Testament. And these processes occur at the quantum level. Don't be surprised — God understands these things, too. And the Holy Gospel explains everything in great detail, presenting all the processes as a historical narrative about the message of God to man of His Impulse that creates the Mind in the human body. And this Impulse, which carries the conception of Reason in man; and the Image of rational human thinking that arises from this; and the human Mind itself, which man then manifests — all this unites in itself the Image of Jesus Christ, sent by God to man to become man.

  8. Many people believe that if a person is an unbeliever, then he is an atheist. However, atheists believe that there is no God and this fact makes them believers.

In most cases, anyone who believes that they are an atheist is actually an agnostic, unaware of the existence of such a term. Personally, your question suggests to me that you are following agnosticism.

“In modern terms, an agnostic is a person who doubts religion. From his point of view, the explanation of the essence of God by modern religious teachings is unconvincing. He does not deny the existence of a certain divine principle, but he is not ready to accept it as an unconditional concrete reality, since the available evidence for this is not enough. For agnostics, the question of what exactly is the divine principle remains open, they believe that one day we will all know.”
