  1. If you talk to impoverished families, you will understand that they consider themselves almost heroes and saviors of the nation. They give birth just because it's necessary, and then consider it a great achievement. They even brag about it. They boast because they have never achieved more in their lives. They don't understand why they need to get out of the mud at all. They don't understand what's wrong with living 6 people in a single room. They'll tell you that they've had a bad life themselves and…that's it? They have never tried a better life and do not want to, so they give birth to poverty.

  2. “so” is how?

Try to change the scale of the question. There are families who live well, some just fine. And there are poor people. Why don't the poor start living richly?

Why, for example, won't your family start living like the Rothschilds, for example? Why do you personally prefer to live poorer than Abramovich?

These are roughly the same reasons that apply to entire nations. Someone eats up the heritage of their ancestors, someone lives off the plunder of neighbors, somewhere people are instilled with a love of work and education from childhood, and some peoples, due to their history and culture, value spirituality and enlightenment more than money..

  3. Because everyone cannot live well, because rich countries live at the expense of the poverty of others. Take a developed country, and its income is made up of many factors, including taxes. Taxes are most often paid by large organizations and businesses. But they do not develop and appear from scratch. Let's say there is a concern that sells horns and hooves, and it is considered one of the most popular at home. Most residents are willing to buy there, or maybe because the concern got rid of most of its competitors, leaving the most useless ones to circumvent antitrust laws. But it doesn't matter, the important thing is that one country is no longer enough and it's time to expand. It is trying to sell its products to State N, but taxes on foreign products are too high compared to what local producers have to pay, and therefore the concern is simply not able to crush local businessmen with finances. And then the native government of our organization comes to the rescue, it has its own policy, but no one has canceled lobbying or “donation” to a candidate who suddenly became the head of state. These powerful people understand that they will get quite a big profit in terms of taxes and political influence, if they can control the state. Therefore, using its resources, it arranges a peaceful or not quite revolution there, putting the right people in important posts. After that, these same people announce that, as a sign of friendly relations, they are establishing open borders, abolishing the visa regime and taxes in both directions. The people are happy and thinking about where it is better to go on the weekend, the concern is happy that being on an equal footing, it will be able to crush entrepreneurs N, the government of N has received political points and the gratitude of the population, and their protégé has the power of actual power over N. Who doesn't win in the end? The economy of N has lost a large chunk of financial revenues, the businessmen of N have gone bankrupt, they are not able to fight the concern either in their homeland or in the homeland of their competitor.

There are also more peaceful ways to live well. The two countries, one of which is large and has political and economic weight, had a lot in common in terms of history, culture and field of activity. Over time, they established a strong bond and the smaller country was essentially fed at the expense of a larger brother.

And finally, the third option is trading. One country is lucky enough to be at the intersection of trade and financial flows.

As you understand, not everyone has the listed properties and not everything depends on a banal desire. So there are always poor countries that provide international corporations with resources and cheap labor, but taxes from this and certain bribes remain in the pocket of developed countries.
