In essence, an emotion is a mental, ideal expression of a change in the metabolism of certain chemicals in the limbic system. For example, with a decrease in serotonin production, a person experiences anxiety and depression, and with an increase in oxytocin – trust and love.

    Experiencing emotions is one of the most important aspects of a healthy psyche, so it is impossible to stop experiencing emotions.
