Perhaps you just want to speak more honestly and openly than you can afford in Russian, and in order to abstract and talk about yourself as a different person, it is convenient to speak in a different language or on behalf of a different gender. Or you just like the fact that you know enough English to speak it, and you love this language and its specific construction of phrases, flexibility of meanings.

  2. Apparently, you don't feel it as strongly as Russian. Many associations that were formed in Russian are missing. Communication in English seems to blunt everything and at the same time turns into an easy adventure.
