The known space came into being together with our universe and, in fact, is a part of it. You just can't “get out” by moving in our space-time and look at the universe “from the outside”. Because there is no “outside” in it, only “inside”. In the best case, you can go to another dimension (if there is one and if the transition is possible), but there our Universe will manifest itself only by gravity. You won't be able to see it anyway.
